Maynard
was a very sweet and content Bulldog.
He had the calmest demeanor and the personality of a clown. He shared
the recliner with me in the evening and was my bed buddy.
Unfortunately Maynard's life was cut short by a Veterinarian who knew
nothing about administering anesthesia to a bulldog. He basically stopped
Maynard's heart and then tried to convince everyone it was "his stress".
I can't stress enough how important it is to make sure that you use a
Veterinarian even in amn emergency, who knows and understands the idiosyncrasies
of the Bulldog Breed. The loss of a Bully companion for no good reason
is devastating - I still haven't gotten over it.
